Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Inspiration:
Provide exceptional leadership for a team of skilled engineers, cultivating an atmosphere of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with key clients and internal stakeholders to ensure product development aligns with business objectives.
Project Management:
Oversee and deliver intricate software systems that encompass SaaS, databases, networking, UX, and client/server architectures while adhering to project timelines.
Financial and Strategic Oversight:
Develop and manage financial plans, including labor costs, tools, and capital expenditures. Strategically plan for necessary staffing, adjusting team roles to effectively manage shifting priorities.

Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with other divisions such as Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure seamless product integration and delivery.

Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and methodologies. Regularly evaluate and enhance engineering processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Required Experience and Knowledge:
Technical and Organizational Proficiency:
Champion technical engineering excellence, ensuring robust, scalable designs while guiding team members' career development. Supervise the entire product development lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring smooth integration across all organizational functions.
Ethical Integrity:
Maintain a strong ethical foundation, ensuring trust and handling sensitive information with integrity, aligned with SentinelOne's core values.
Customer-Focused Development:
Ensure that all product developments provide substantial value to our customers, emphasizing adoption, usability, and business impact.
Data-Driven Leadership:
Implement and manage KPIs to monitor and report on team performance, ensuring decisions are based on data and accountability.
Proactive Leadership:
Advocate for ongoing improvement, constructively challenging leadership and peers to enhance processes and outcomes.
Extensive Experience:
Ideally, 15+ years in software engineering, with a minimum of 6 years in cloud and big-data applications, and at least 2 years leading multiple engineering teams.
Educational Qualifications:
A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
