SENIOR CAD DESIGNER - 3D Modeling Specialist

RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek, a premier provider of quality assurance and safety solutions to some of the most recognized brands globally, is currently seeking a SENIOR CAD DESIGNER - 3D Modeling Specialist to become a vital part of our Survey Services team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the 3D Solutions Manager to comprehend client requirements and expected deliverables.
  • Receive guidance from the 3D Solutions Manager while working closely with the existing CAD team on daily tasks.
  • Utilize Laser Scan data to create CAD models, isometric drawings, and 2D fabrication schematics.
  • Ensure quality control of CAD models and technical drawings.
  • Adhere to established priorities and schedules, providing progress updates to the 3D Solutions Manager.
  • Engage directly with Client Representatives as directed by the 3D Solutions Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technical or associate's degree in CAD Drafting & Design Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
  • Experience in 3D modeling using Laser Scan data.
  • Ability to prepare structural and piping drawings.
  • Familiarity with P&ID, Process Flow Diagrams, and component identification from images/scan data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Commitment to safety practices and policies to safeguard oneself and others.
  • Effective communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Customer-focused and quality-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs arise.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a reliable driving record.
  • Pass periodic Drug and Alcohol Testing.
  • This position allows for remote work; however, candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with survey as-built reports.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software such as Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD, AVEVA PCM Server, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and Hexagon CAD Worx.
