Senior CAD Technician

RCG Moody International Limited, in collaboration with Intertek, is seeking a talented Senior CAD Technician - 3D Modeling Specialist to enhance our Survey Services division. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while contributing to significant projects in the Oil and Gas sector.
As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for generating high-quality CAD deliverables, including detailed drawings and sophisticated models. You will collaborate closely with the 3D Solutions Manager and our dedicated CAD team to ensure that project timelines are met with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the 3D Solutions Manager to ascertain client requirements and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the CAD team to execute daily tasks and activities effectively.
- Utilize Laser Scan data to create accurate CAD models, isometric drawings, and 2D fabrication plans.
- Conduct quality control checks on CAD models and drawings to maintain high standards.
- Adhere to project priorities and schedules, providing regular updates to the 3D Solutions Manager.
- Communicate directly with Client Representatives as directed by the 3D Solutions Manager.
- Technical or associate's degree in CAD Drafting & Design Technology or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Experience in 3D modeling utilizing Laser Scan data.
- Familiarity with creating structural and piping drawings.
- Ability to interpret P&ID and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Commitment to safety practices and policies.
- Strong communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
- Customer-focused with a quality-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel as required for business needs.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Compliance with periodic Drug and Alcohol Testing.
- Remote work capability while residing in the United States.
- Experience with survey as-built reports.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with software such as Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD, AVEVA PCM Server, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and Hexagon CAD Worx.
