Essential Qualifications for the Housing Assistance Program Supervisor:
#1. A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity, along with a Bachelor's degree.
#2. Comprehensive knowledge of public administration and housing management practices.
#3. Proficiency in using record management systems such as Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, as well as standard office software including Word and Excel.
#4. No more than three positions held in the past decade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience: At least five years of experience in managing programs related to housing assistance or affordable housing, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role. A bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, social sciences, or a related field is essential. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
- Expertise: Strong grasp of program development, monitoring, and evaluation techniques. Familiarity with the fundamental principles of public administration, housing management, community support resources, contract negotiation, legal frameworks, and municipal budgeting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in utilizing record-keeping systems such as Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, and standard software applications like Word and Excel.
Additional Requirements:
- This is an in-office position. Remote candidates may be considered.
- We do not provide sponsorships or accept visa holders. Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not permitted.
