Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones in a timely manner, handling calls with efficiency and thoroughness.

  • Post payments to patient accounts in accordance with company policies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Subject Matter Expert in practice management system, ensuring patient registration, e-check in, and account information are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Be efficient in patient check-in, obtaining necessary consents and promptly notifying the back-office team.
  • Confirm patient appointments in accordance with office confirmation policies, ensuring timely communication.
  • Ensure all patient messages received from the Contact Center are returned and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics, making informed decisions to drive success.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Health Brand, making decisions consistent with the company's framework.
  • Become knowledgeable and support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor, addressing others professionally and respectfully.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state, federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
