Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and precise tax preparation.
  • Provide exceptional client service – be responsive and accessible to clients.
  • Plan and organize projects effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors on compliance-related matters.
  • Identify and suggest alternative solutions to potential risks.
  • Assist colleagues in resolving issues related to systems, software, and client projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in industry-specific software such as ProSystem Tax and CCH Engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all firm policies and standards for both yourself and client service teams.
  • Effectively manage projects to completion in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regulatory research: clearly articulate issues for investigation and report findings.
  • Deliver comprehensive tax planning services that align with clients' overall objectives.
  • Organize engagements from the outset by setting clear expectations and procedures with tax preparers.
  • Perform thorough reviews of tax returns and provide constructive feedback and training for preparers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it.
  • Experience in international tax.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in public accounting.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
