Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a temporary assignment basis. As an Occupational Therapist with Waterfall Technology Consulting Partners, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals to help them participate in the activities of daily life and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors that may affect their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans to address specific challenges and goals, including exercises, activities, and adaptations to enhance independence and function.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients and their families about their condition, treatment strategies, and ways to manage daily activities more effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Workplace Ergonomics and Mental Health Support: Assess and modify work environments to promote safety and productivity for employees, and provide mental health support to individuals experiencing challenges.
Requirements
  • Valid Occupational Therapy Certification: Must be certified in the state of practice.
  • Recent Occupational Therapy Experience: At least 1 year of recent experience in a rehab setting.
  • BLS Certification: Must be certified in Basic Life Support.
