Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and precise tax preparation.
  • Deliver exceptional client service – be responsive and available to clients.
  • Plan and organize projects effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors on compliance-related matters.
  • Identify and suggest alternative solutions to potential challenges.
  • Assist colleagues in resolving issues related to systems, software, and client projects.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software such as ProSystem Tax and CCH Engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all firm policies and standards for yourself and client service teams.
  • Effectively manage projects to completion in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regulatory research: clearly articulate issues for investigation and report findings.
  • Provide comprehensive tax planning that aligns with clients' overall objectives.
  • Initiate engagements by clearly communicating expectations and procedures with tax preparers.
  • Perform thorough reviews of tax returns and offer constructive feedback and training for preparers.
