The Occupational Therapist PRN role at Johnston-Willis Hospital is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to provide high-quality patient-centered care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care for an assigned group of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify areas of need and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and the patient care team to ensure seamless care coordination and goal achievement.
- Provide purposeful and skilled interaction care, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
- Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Occupational Therapy (OT) degree and licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
