Position Summary:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accounting and Assurance Manager to join our Audit team. This role is pivotal in managing complex client engagements and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee audit engagements, ensuring efficient use of staff time.
  • Review and assess workpaper files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct analytical review procedures, documenting expectations, results, and conclusions.
  • Mentor and evaluate staff performance, fostering professional growth.
  • Act as a technical resource within the firm, contributing to our mission.
  • Identify and develop value-added business advisory insights for clients.
  • Review financial statements and validate analytical review outcomes.
  • Research complex accounting issues and provide informed conclusions.
  • Perform additional accounting services as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
  • CPA license is mandatory.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in public accounting is essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in using 10-key and various accounting software.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax issues and research techniques.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, CaseWare, and FAS.
