Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Tools Engineer to support our team in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team responsible for various Network Security Tools.

The successful candidate will provide technical hands-on support for various Security Tool engineering and Administration of SASE, EDR, DLP, Web Proxy, Email Security, IDPS, Firewall and SIEM Technologies.

  • Provide technical support for Security Tool engineering and administration.
  • Create deployment plans and perform work as outlined.
  • Perform routine health checks, maintenance tasks, updates, upgrades, and implement new capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot Network Security Tools issues and escalate to vendors.
  • Support deployment of new Network Security Tools.
  • Develop and execute work instructions and technical documentation.
  • Analyze performance issues using various tools.
  • Effectively document work in various formats.
  • Improve efficiency through process improvement and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus five years of related information security experience or eight years of work experience.

Three years of experience providing hands-on technical support for SASE, EDR, DLP, Web Proxy, Email Security, IDPS, Firewall and SIEM Technologies.

Two years of experience administering operating systems (Windows and Linux).

One year of experience administering SIEM.

Two years of experience in scripting and automation.

Two years of experience developing, executing, and improving work instructions and technical documentation.

Industry standard cybersecurity certification (e.g. Security+).

Security Clearance

All candidates must be eligible to obtain a US Public Trust Clearance.
