Job Description

Job Title: Security Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at Dexian - DISYS. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the security of our infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage security policies, access controls, and network security devices.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
  • Configure and manage security tools, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Monitor.
  • Investigate and remediate security incidents, and provide regular updates to the GSA IT Incident Response team.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans for security vulnerabilities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the GSA CISO and Security Operations division to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the PTT team on security best practices and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in security engineering, SOC analysis, and security tools configuration and management.
  • Experience with security tools, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Qualys, Splunk, and Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • Security certifications, such as CISSP, CISA.
