Public Relations Account Supervisor for Education

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Account Supervisor to join our PreK-12 Education Practice. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in public relations/communications, with a passion for education and a proven track record of delivering excellent media results.
Responsibilities:- Draft high-quality written materials, including press releases, media advisories, and key messages, that demonstrate a deep understanding of key education issues and policies.
- Develop and execute integrated public relations campaigns that exceed client goals, including media relations, marketing communications, and social media strategies.
- Collaborate with the PreK-12 senior leadership team to develop and implement communications strategies that drive results.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and provide regular activity reports and other internal and client-facing deliverables.
- Establish and maintain strong media relationships, secure consistent media coverage, and generate new business opportunities.
- 7+ years of prior PR leadership roles, preferably in education and/or public policy.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong understanding of AP style.
- Strong communications skills, project management capabilities, and proven problem-solving ability.
- Ability to develop and execute both media relations and marketing communications programs successfully.
- Detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, flexible, and thorough.
