Job Title: Physician Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Credentialing Specialist to join our team at Industrial Staffing Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the credentialing of physicians and allied health providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and review Provider applications with accuracy and thoroughness
  • Contact providers for application information when necessary
  • Contact government agencies and managed care companies to obtain status and resolve discrepancies related to provider applications
  • Follow-up with physicians and assist with completing applications
  • Ensure timely submissions of all re-appointments and re-credentials
  • Verify all licenses are current and maintain internal files, including copies of current credentials

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in credentialing
  • Excellent computer skills, to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database management
  • Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in Physician/Advanced Practice Payer enrollment, in a hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cactus/Symplr experience
  • CAQH experience
