- Assist in the disassembly of system components to facilitate failure correction or implement modifications.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults and repair defective components.
- Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products in accordance with specifications.
- Support tasks related to the safe handling of aerospace vehicles, including jacking, towing, and system operations.
- Work under supervision while maintaining regular attendance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Aircraft Maintenance and Modification.
- Experience in Manufacturing and Retrofit Repair Modification & Maintenance.
- Strong skills in Blueprint Reading and Critical Thinking.
- Capable of Troubleshooting and executing Test Procedures.
- Familiarity with Assembly/Joining techniques and Microsoft Outlook.
- Knowledge of Flight Hardware and Problem Solving.
- Soldering experience and ability to work with small tools such as tweezers and pliers.
- Experience working under magnification, including microscopes.
- Successful completion of training is a prerequisite for this role, whether through On-the-Job Training or formal classroom instruction.
Essential Requirements:
- Successful completion of training is mandatory for this position.
- Proficiency in Blueprint Reading and Electromechanical experience is essential.
Education:
- Must possess an Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with a primary focus on first shift hours, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs is required.
Additional Information:
- Candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified government information.
