Mistras Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Apparatus Technician to join our team. As a Fire Apparatus Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing fire department apparatus, including fire pumps, ground ladders, and aerial devices, to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.

• Inspect and test fire department apparatus to ensure compliance with NFPA standards
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire apparatus
• Conduct thorough inspections of fire pumps, ground ladders, and aerial devices
• Identify and report any defects or issues with fire apparatus
• Collaborate with fire department personnel to ensure smooth operation of fire apparatus

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications
• Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures
• Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule

• Field duties require outdoor work
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 pounds
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities
• Sufficient vision or other powers of observation
• Sufficient manual dexterity
• Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes
