Job Description:
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager, Distribution to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the distributor channel, maintaining relationships with key decision makers, and supporting overall team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop joint business plans with assigned distributors to drive revenue growth
- Manage sales growth to achieve profitability goals
- Analyze data from cross-functional groups to develop solutions for streamlining sales processes and collections
- Communicate with representatives and distributor management regarding meetings, account calls, and other business needs
- Analyze data and information about distributors to identify marketing potential and opportunities
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
- Provide ongoing strategic insights to Marketing and senior leadership regarding market conditions, needs, and opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in selling to and with distributors, preferably in the chemical space
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
