About the Role

GSK LLP is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapeutic Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of our biologic product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide scientific knowledge and business acumen to specialist customers to support the sale of our biologic product.
  • Understand the reimbursement and distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify the appropriate resources to refer customers to for reimbursement and distribution choices.
  • Maintain knowledge and data on severe asthma therapeutic expertise.
  • Provide product educational programs and in-services to customers.
  • Work within compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
  • Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer within an account.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with marketing, payer relations managers, medical, and other functions within GSK.
  • Effectively manage allocated resources.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer requests, inquiries, and needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel up to 30%.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able and willing to drive or operate a vehicle, as driving is an essential function of this role.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales or medical device sales experience for the Specialty Account Specialist role, or 15+ years of experience for the Senior Specialty Account Specialist role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialty products that utilize the Buy & Bill or Specialty pharmacy modes of distribution.
  • Expertise in working with payer reimbursement managers.
  • Biologic/Rare Disease/Respiratory Sales experience.
  • Cross-functional matrix collaboration.
  • Demonstrated consistent performance over time.
