Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and positive learning environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to support clients' learning and growth.
  • Provide direct support and care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and medical needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' medical, physical, and behavioral status.
  • Administer medication to clients as prescribed, following agency policy and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in human services, with a focus on developmental disabilities.
  • Valid CT driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to lift and transfer 70-75lbs, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.

Work Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday, 6am-2pm; Thursday, 3pm-10pm.
