Pediatric Neurology Medical Assistant Opportunity

MaineHealth is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Neurology team in Scarborough, ME. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in a team-based ambulatory practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical and administrative tasks related to patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and medication administration.
  • Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Assisting or equivalent experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Approved Medical Assistant credentials (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA).
  • At least 2 years of clinical Medical Assisting experience in a multi-physician medical practice.
