We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Autism Support Specialist to join our team at Centria Autism. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism by implementing individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Job Description

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services that promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth in children with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Support children with autism in developing essential skills such as communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Manage challenging behavior using evidence-based techniques
Requirements:
  • Patient and compassionate approach to working with children with autism
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test required (if not previously completed)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within a specified timeframe
