Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare and approve detailed journal entries and account analyses in our ERP system
  • Research and resolve accounting issues, maintaining the General Ledger system and completing bank reconciliations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, including quarterly board reports and monthly lender reports
  • Supervise and train junior accountants, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of public accounting or large corporate accounting experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of management/leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
