Job Overview

We're seeking an IT Associate Developer to join our team. As a member of our IT department, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing software applications that drive business success. You'll work closely with our development team to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and write, review, and debug code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications that meet business needs
  • Conduct requirements gathering and document technical specifications
  • Write, review, and debug code
  • Recommend product revisions or enhancements based on feedback
  • Develop and maintain documentation or user manuals
  • Partner with peers and mentors to complete projects and duties
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • General understanding of relational database concepts and writing SQL
  • General understanding of principles in one or more programming language such as Java or C#
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
  • 4+ years of programming experience could substitute for a bachelor's degree
  • Previous development experience in work or collegiate setting required
