Senior Construction Materials Engineering Technician

At S&ME, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Materials Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our project teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough reviews of plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct special inspections and observations to guarantee the quality and integrity of construction materials.
- Document field activities and observations accurately and thoroughly.
- Utilize laboratory information management systems to submit detailed reports and accurate testing results.
- Calibrate equipment to industry standards to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders, including management, contractors, and clients.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in construction testing and inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials.
- Two or more active certifications, including American Concrete Institute (ACI), NICET, and International Code Council (ICC) certifications.
