This is a challenging and rewarding sales role that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a Northeast Industrial Technical Sales Representative at ITT Inc., you will be responsible for promoting and selling Engineered Valve Sanitary Valve Products through distributors, representatives, and direct sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Engineered Valve Sanitary Valve Products to end users, A&E accounts, distributors, and representatives.
- Manage sales territory and develop sales action plans to maximize product sales.
- Train distributors and representatives on product features and benefits.
- Conduct product information seminars and provide technical support to customers.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for establishing or terminating distributors and representatives.
- Develop and hone specialized sales expertise and train others in individual or group settings.
- Perform administrative paperwork, write reports, and quotations to effectively perform sales function.
- Provide regular forecasts of potential sales volumes in assigned territory.
- Assist in conducting product and sales training programs.
- Provide market and sales trend information to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field.
- Three to five years of outside technical sales experience in Biopharm markets in the territory.
- Channel management, sale of valves or related products, or other capital equipment experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
