Job Overview
We are in search of a Construction Project Superintendent to oversee and manage significant commercial construction initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for directing ground-up construction projects valued between $20 million and $50 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs and schedules, ensuring timely completion.
- Resolve on-site challenges and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders.
- Supervise a team that includes project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents.
- Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate logistics for manpower, materials, and equipment on-site.
- Manage project forecasting, job costing, and productivity metrics.
Essential Skills
Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, MS Project, or Primavera).
- Experience in managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
Soft Skills:
- Effective cost monitoring and scheduling abilities.
