Job Summary
The Coast Community College District is seeking qualified part-time faculty to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses and contribute to the academic success of our students.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
- Create and maintain an inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records and meet performance expectations.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote student success and retention.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in the subject area or related field.
- Two years of professional experience in teaching or a related field.
- Evidence of a sensitivity to, understanding of, and the ability to manage the classroom environment and effectively provide instruction to students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent teaching experience in a community college or higher education setting.
- Expertise and professional experience in the subject area or related field.
