Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer Intern to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a Systems Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world applications, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a basic understanding of requirements development, traceability, and allocations.
  • Apply fundamentals of mathematics, physics, and engineering to develop and/or modify existing engineering models to establish boundary conditions that help validate requirements conditions.
  • Assist engineering leads in the inspections and review of hardware drawings, models, hardware assembly, integration, and test to verify and modify, as needed, boundary conditions of models and analysis.
  • Use excellent communication skills to work across functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure consensus and understanding of solutions.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled at an ABET-accredited university.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Actively enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field(s).
Desired Skills
  • Interest in unmanned space vehicle design specification, analysis, and test.
  • Coursework or experience in signal processing and design of complex hardware/software integrated systems.
  • Coursework or experience in embedded systems.
