Electrical Engineer Internship Opportunity

Figure, a pioneering AI Robotics company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to contribute to the design and testing of critical hardware components for our humanoid robot. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of robotics and automation.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and test full or sub-sections of PCBAs, including power distribution boards, battery management systems, sensing boards, motor controllers, and computer boards.
  • Support the review of design artifacts, such as schematics, layouts, and bill of materials, from peers or external suppliers.
  • Contribute to system integration and test activities, including test execution and problem diagnostics and resolution.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate student (Senior) or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 weeks internship, 1 to 2 terms preferred.
  • Solid EE fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBAs.
  • Experience with design automation (EDA) tools, preferably Altium in both schematics and layout.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience using LTspice, Python, and Matlab.
  • Embedded programming of DSPs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
