Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL A truck driver to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a tanker truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting raw milk from farm to processing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA Commercial Motor Vehicle, and safety policies
  • Transport raw milk from farm to processing plants, following dispatch schedules and directions from driver supervisors
  • Take quality control samples at farms, measure milk loaded into trailers, and minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption
  • Perform ladder climbing to access top of tank trailers and farm tanks, and hook and unhook trucks and trailers
  • Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees, and represent DFA positively and professionally
Requirements
  • Class A CDL in state of residence
  • Tanker endorsement and doubles/triples endorsement
  • No automatic restrictions
  • High school or equivalent preferred
  • CDL A driving experience: 1 year (Required)
