The Lead Financial Costing Analyst will oversee all aspects of product costing and will be responsible for scrutinizing all inventory transactions to ensure their precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciles various balance sheet accounts and oversees the cycle count processes and protocols.
  • Facilitates clear communication with sales personnel regarding demonstration and evaluation equipment.
  • Monitors and reconciles field equipment alongside related accounts.
  • Calculates new standard costs throughout the fiscal year.
  • Updates and maintains vendor information within the Accounts Payable system.
  • Supports both internal and external audit processes.
  • Regularly reviews and verifies the accuracy of inventory and material transactions.
  • Assists in training material handling staff.
  • Analyzes and finalizes all work orders.
  • Completes various month-end closing activities, including reconciling all cost of goods transactions, no-charge shipments, scrap, and recording depreciation expenses.
  • Reconciles and manages transactions related to fixed asset additions and deletions for both internal and statutory requirements.
  • Calculates budgetary information regarding fixed asset amortization and inputs changes to routing and raw material costs for budgeting purposes.
  • Provides corporate finance teams with an AFE schedule (status of new fixed assets) on a quarterly basis.
  • Supplies P.O. commitment details for financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or cost accounting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint is highly preferred.
  • Experience with SQL is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with MANMAN or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time is required for this position.

This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa assistance or agency utilization.

As mandated by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $61,000-$95,000. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range reflects CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
