Job Title: Regional Sales Director

Overview

Community Financial System, Inc. is a leading provider of financial services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to join our team. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to build and retain profitable relationships with financial intermediaries in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a disciplined sales strategy to build and retain profitable relationships with financial intermediaries.
  • Generate and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Establish and maintain a steady sales pipeline in your assigned territory.
  • Provide consultative sales support to financial intermediaries and their clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries, including proposal generation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and market presence.
  • Participate in marketing and advertising strategies, including writing blog posts and social media activity.
  • Represent the company at national meetings and conferences.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with defined contribution retirement plans.
  • Five (5) or more years of financial services sales experience.
  • Proficiency in financial services sales, wholesaling, retirement products, and relationship management.
  • Oratory skills with group presentations, panel discussions, and educational seminars.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout your assigned territory.
