Job Title: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor - LCDC II/III or LICDC

Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. is a leading behavioral health agency providing comprehensive services to adults and children with mental health and substance use disorders. We are seeking licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors - LCDC II, LCDC III or LICDC to join our treatment team in Akron location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced and licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors to provide individual and group therapy services to clients with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction counseling and be able to work effectively with clients, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy services to clients with substance use disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in addiction counseling

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling or related field
  • Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor - LCDC II, LCDC III or LICDC
  • Experience working with clients with substance use disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
