Position Summary:
The Walsh Group is on the lookout for a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers in recruitment and requires full-time office attendance.

The Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying and connecting with potential candidates to enhance our talent pool.

This position involves sourcing and evaluating candidates, building talent networks, and participating in the assessment of applicants while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:


Proactively source passive candidates using various sourcing tools and innovative techniques, showcasing personal flair to attract interest in our available roles.

Develop extensive networks of highly qualified and diverse candidates to meet current and future hiring needs.


Conduct research on labor markets to assess supply and demand, gather competitor insights, and identify best practices for candidate sourcing.

Create robust candidate pipelines that directly support current openings and future requirements

Propose strategic plans for recruiting campaigns in collaboration with the Communications Team

Advise on job posting platforms and strategies to enhance candidate engagement


Collaborate with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to ensure a clear understanding of job specifications and expectations to source the right talent.

Guarantee an exceptional candidate experience and maintain consistent communication to uphold a positive employer brand throughout the recruitment process.

Integrate diversity and inclusion principles into every stage of the recruitment process.


Stay informed about the latest trends in sourcing, dynamic searching, and related Human Resources topics through ongoing training, networking, and professional development.


Qualifications:


1+ years of experience in Human Resources, particularly in Recruitment, Sourcing, and Selection, with a college degree, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Boolean searches, familiarity with various sourcing tools (such as LinkedIn Recruiter or SeekOut), and techniques for engaging passive candidates are essential.

Experience in construction recruitment is preferred.

Background in high-volume and surge recruiting is advantageous

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly iCIMS or Workday, is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

A passion for technology and a strong interest in keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices

Willingness to work full-time in an office environment.
