About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and adhere to all safety precautions.
  • Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met, and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily, and utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
  • Current ServSafe certification and Food Handler's card required.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
