Industrial Maintenance Technician Electrician

Become a part of our team at Butterball, LLC, a leading producer of turkey products in the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician Electrician to join our team in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area.
Job Summary:This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide electrical and mechanical support in response to operational changes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining facility equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain facility equipment using critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Follow all work safety policies and guidelines.
- Complete all electrical/mechanical work as assigned.
- Perform PM procedures to reduce downtime and improve overall performance.
- Complete all work orders as assigned.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, product standards, and guidelines.
- Use electrical schematics to troubleshoot.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradely hardware, software, and drives.
- Ability to work in a team or independently, with or without direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Have an electrical license or other certifications.
- Understand and troubleshoot control voltage and line voltage.
- Understanding and utilizing industry electrical prints.
- Effective PLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Vacuum theory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Follow diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturing instructions.
- Must be able to troubleshoot malfunctions in a timely manner and find resolution.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Familiarity with SPC, HACCP, GMP'S SSOP'S, and USDA.
- Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with loud and noisy machinery, in damp and cold conditions, and in congested areas. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team or independently, with or without direct supervision.
