Job Title: Community Navigation Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Navigation Manager to join our team at Evidence Based Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising community navigators, promoting a trauma-informed approach, and facilitating positive interactions with participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise community navigators to ensure consistent outreach efforts and high standards of professionalism.
  • Promote a trauma-informed approach and provide training and coaching to community navigators.
  • Facilitate positive interactions with participants and provide supportive case management.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports, manage data entry, and review documentation.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, supervise one-on-one sessions, and maintain open communication lines.
  • Engage proactively with the community, strengthen ties with residents, businesses, and organizations.
  • Coordinate support sessions aimed at developing conflict resolution skills and positive behavior.
  • Ensure appropriate referrals for comprehensive support services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, human services, criminal justice, sociology, or related field.
  • Two or more years of full-time management experience in outreach, substance use, mental health, and/or criminal justice.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a nonprofit social service setting.
  • Some supervisory experience required.
  • Skilled communicator with ability to liaise interdepartmentally and with community partners.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel throughout the Bronx.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
