The Senior Teller is a key member of our banking team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch activities. This role requires a high level of expertise in banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process a wide range of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, ATM, and night drop.
- Customer Service: Identify opportunities to refer new products and services to customers based on their financial goals, and provide exceptional customer service to resolve customer concerns.
- Account Management: Reconcile GL debits and credits for a given location over a specified period of time, and perform vault and ATM balancing.
- Wire Processing: Process wires and hold/stop payments as needed.
- Reporting and Compliance: Review and verify daily reports assigned by Branch Management, and adhere to bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of client and bank assets.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with processing and scanning of daily teller work, audit peer transactions, and participate in the branch's overall goals.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of retail banking experience in a financial services industry.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services; intermediate math skills; relationship building, collaboration, and teamwork; and ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
