About the Role

The Senior Teller is a key member of our banking team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and ATM transactions, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to refer new products and services to customers based on their financial goals and needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reconcile GL debits and credits for a given location over a specified period of time, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform vault and ATM balancing, wire processing, and holds/stop payments with precision and speed.
  • Review and verify daily reports assigned by Branch Management, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Participate in the branch's overall goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of retail banking experience in a financial services industry, with a strong background in Bank Secrecy Act compliance and general banking skills.
  • Intermediate math skills, including calculating interest and percentages, balancing accounts, and performing routine mathematical errors.
  • Excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services to open accounts.
  • Relationship building, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and co-workers.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to bank policies and procedures.
  • Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment, adapting to new challenges and priorities with ease.
