Position Title: Electrical Project Manager

Role Summary:
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing intricate electrical and specialty systems construction initiatives. Your leadership will ensure that each project adheres to the utmost standards of safety, quality, and financial success while effectively managing on-site personnel and mitigating risks.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage electrical construction projects, guaranteeing safety, profitability, and adherence to timelines.
  • Documentation Control: Administer all project-related documentation, including submittals, RFIs, addendums, proposal requests, change orders, and meeting notes.
  • Contract Assessment: Review client contracts for compliance and readiness.
  • Submittal Management: Ensure prompt and precise submissions from subcontractors.
  • Change Order Management: Generate and issue estimates for work outside the contracted scope.
  • Project Completion: Finalize all closeout activities, including punch lists and as-built documentation.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead and document discussions with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
  • Safety Management: Develop and enforce project-specific safety protocols.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, forecasts, and change orders.
  • Material Management: Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Issue Resolution: Address project challenges swiftly while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior team members and monitor the time of direct reports.
  • Software Utilization: Employ CRS, PTS, Apex, ConEst, Sage, and other tools for effective project management.

Educational Background:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in project management for projects exceeding $20MM.
  • Estimating Expertise: Proven experience in preparing and analyzing electrical estimates.
  • People Management: At least 5 years of experience managing direct reports.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
