About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical construction projects to ensure timely completion, safety, and profitability.
  • Documentation Management: Handle submittals, RFIs, addendums, proposal requests, change orders, and meeting minutes to maintain accurate project records.
  • Contract Review: Evaluate client contracts to ensure compliance and readiness for approval.
  • Project Submittals: Timely and accurate submissions, including those from subcontractors, to ensure project progress.
  • Change Orders: Estimate, prepare, and issue change orders for any work beyond the contracted scope.
  • Project Closeout: Accurately complete all closeout tasks, including punch lists and as-built drawings, to ensure project completion.
  • Meeting Leadership: Lead and document client, internal, and subcontractor meetings to maintain open communication.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and lead project-specific safety plans in collaboration with the Safety Department to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage all financial aspects, including budget creation, forecasting, and change orders, to ensure project profitability.
  • Material Procurement: Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely and accurate material deliveries.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve project concerns to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train less experienced team members while approving and tracking time of direct reports.
  • Software Utilization: Use CRS, PTS, Apex, ConEst, Sage, and other related software for project management.

Interview Process
  • Initial Surveys: Two surveys, 10 minutes and 40 minutes respectively, to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Virtual Interview: With the owner and possibly a manager to assess candidate fit.
  • Final Interview: With the department manager, followed by a decision.
