About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our Sleep Center, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures and operating equipment with a high level of expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient and family's knowledge deficit regarding Cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Perform scoring of the polysomnographic record when assigned according to departmental policies & established guidelines.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining supplies & equipment in all areas of the Sleep Center.
  • Actively participate in Quality Assurance departmental activities and objectives.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in an accredited Sleep Center.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Required licensure as a registered polysomnographic sleep technologist through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
