Position Summary
Filler Operator
The Filler Operator position entails managing the filler and auxiliary equipment, ensuring product quality and safety. Responsibilities include product and packaging changeovers, overseeing product flow, and performing quality inspections. This role reports to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer product from the run tank to the filler while maintaining temperature control
  • Operate machinery effectively to maximize production-line efficiency
  • Monitor bottle flow, resolve jams, and notify maintenance of any issues
  • Conduct packaging changeovers and quality control assessments
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform washes as necessary
  • Adjust equipment settings to comply with specifications
  • Assist with inventory checks and maintain production records
  • Comply with food safety and quality standards
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the food or beverage sector
  • Capability to train and oversee others
  • Consultative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
This role requires the physical ability to work in a production environment, including standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to varying conditions.
