The Financial Services Representative II is responsible for creating remarkable member experiences for both current and prospective members. This role involves building new relationships and enhancing existing ones through effective acquisition, retention, and cross-selling strategies within retail banking. The representative will also identify referrals for consumer lending, commercial lending, mortgage lending, wealth management, and other business lines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to meet departmental and organizational objectives with precision and dependability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to all members, both current and prospective.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all Credit Union products and services, educating members on the benefits of membership while identifying opportunities for acquisition, retention, and cross-selling.
  • Resolve member requests, complaints, and issues promptly, ensuring meaningful solutions are delivered.
  • Establish advisory relationships with members to deepen connections and create referral opportunities.
  • Accurately and efficiently process all transactions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Conduct proactive member research and outreach for sales and service initiatives.
  • Follow up with members to ensure a positive experience.
  • Facilitate new member onboarding activities as necessary.
  • Utilize Credit Union resources and innovative technologies to enhance the member experience.
  • Perform daily Personal Banker duties, including managing various account types and processing transactions.
  • Maintain cash drawers, request cash and coin as needed, and reconcile drawers daily.
  • Handle all transactional responsibilities, ensuring accuracy in cash and check handling.
  • Manage lending-related tasks, including processing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Stay informed on all Credit Union products, services, policies, and regulations.
  • Assist the Contact Center during high call volumes.
  • Support digital branch services and online banking inquiries.
  • Travel to branch locations as required by business needs.
  • Participate in community events and business development efforts.
  • Provide Notary services to members.
  • Achieve satisfactory ratings on internal audits and examinations.
  • Meet or exceed monthly loan goals ethically and in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification, along with two years of customer service experience, preferably in a banking context. Supervisory experience and cash handling skills are preferred. A Notary license must be obtained within three months of hire, and an NMLS-ID (Mortgage Loan Originator) will be provided if not already acquired. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
