ALM Analyst

At Suffolk Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled ALM Analyst to join our finance team. As an ALM Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reports and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze ALM reports to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Support the Director of Finance in data analysis and reporting.
• Conduct stress tests and balance sheet management to ensure the credit union's financial stability.
• Assist with ALM modeling, including stress testing, back testing, and prepayment speed analysis.
• Evaluate and update periodic Deposit Studies.
• Prepare interest income/expense forecasts for strategic planning and budgeting.
• Monitor and report on cash positions, derivative collateral, investments, and borrowings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Three to five years of ALM experience in the financial services industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced formula creation.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle confidential information with tact.
