Position Title: Risk Analyst

Location: San Antonio, Texas

As a Risk Analyst at Capgemini, you will engage with clients in the Financial Services sector, concentrating on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigations, Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, and sanctions assessments. You will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to refine your delivery and consulting capabilities, ensuring your success in this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze flagged transactional activities to detect potentially illicit actions, including money laundering and financing of terrorism.
  • Examine existing KYC documentation to uncover potential deficiencies.
  • Conduct thorough investigative research to enhance customer profiles within the KYC framework.
  • Evaluate sanctions screening alerts to identify clients engaged in transactions with sanctioned entities or nations.
  • Perform reviews of emails and documents to support investigations related to market misconduct, corruption, or legal disputes.
  • Execute technical, industry, and corporate research utilizing online resources and publicly accessible information.
  • Develop work plans to tackle complex factual inquiries, preparing detailed reports and analyses for clients and stakeholders.
  • Support daily operations in consulting projects, collaborating with client personnel, team members, and professionals from other organizations involved in the project.
  • Create client-ready presentations and quantitative analyses reflecting project scope and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting, analytics, financial services, legal, or multinational corporate settings.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally based on client requirements.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Open to relocation opportunities.
  • Must possess valid work authorization that does not require future visa sponsorship for employment.
