Job Overview

The role of the Compliance and Risk Management Consultant involves a series of critical responsibilities aimed at ensuring regulatory adherence and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Regular Audits: Perform systematic audits across various Lines of Business (LoBs) to verify compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.
  2. Analyze and Report Findings: Gather audit results, analyze the data, and generate comprehensive reports detailing the findings.
  3. Support Action Planning: Collaborate with LoB Human Resources to develop actionable plans based on audit results.
  4. Monitor Action Plan Execution: Follow up with LoB HR to ensure that action plans are implemented effectively, addressing any non-compliance issues.
Reporting Duties
  1. Prepare Management Reports: Create periodic reports for the Center of Excellence (CoE) to present to Senior Management.
  2. Data Sharing: Provide reports and data to LoB HR leaders regularly or as needed to assist in monitoring key performance indicators such as resource costs and wage bills.
  3. Track Hiring Metrics: Monitor lateral hiring against established metrics and provide necessary reports.
  4. Compile Updates: Gather data and prepare monthly or quarterly updates as required by LoBs and CoEs.
  5. Review and Circulate Reports: Share reports with supervisors for evaluation and distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Enhance Reporting Processes: Offer suggestions for improving existing reporting formats.
Process Improvement
  1. Understand HR Requirements: Analyze the HR plan to identify needs from the CoE.
  2. Document Requirements: Record requirements for process automation or enhancements and submit them for supervisory review.
  3. Recommend Process Changes: Advise on HR process designs or modifications based on best practices and competitive analysis.
  4. Implement New Processes: Pilot and test new processes, develop training materials, and support their introduction across business units.
  5. Coordinate Rollout: Work with LoB HR and business leaders to facilitate the implementation of new processes.
  6. Ensure Compliance: Collaborate with the Process and Policies Team to guarantee proper automation and updates to policy documents as processes evolve.
  7. Respond to Inquiries: Address customer queries as necessary and escalate issues to supervisors when appropriate.
