About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Associate to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services. As a Pharmacy Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients in long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacy staff in the filling of incoming prescriptions and ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
  • Provide quality customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Restock workstation filling supplies, print delivery manifests, and scan medications to proper bins.
  • Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs, including HIPAA Privacy, HIPAA Security, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, and MethGuard courses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Preferred experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings.
  • Registered with the State of Vermont, New Hampshire, or Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (dependent on location).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to stand throughout the duration of the shift and lift up to 80 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
