**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Train, develop, and manage line cooks to meet company standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create menus and new dishes seasonally
  • Anticipate ingredient needs, create prep lists, and place orders through approved vendors
  • Maintain and manage sanitation levels and expectations set forth by the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage
  • Monitor and maintain food quality, consistency, and speed of service
  • Assume kitchen operations and vendor responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Report to the Executive Chef and/or Director of Food and Beverage

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager preferred
  • High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, health, and safety guidelines
  • Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
  • Able to communicate operation needs to staff and other management
  • Adaptable to high volume and fast-paced environments
  • Serve Safe/PIC Certifications Required and/or attainable

**Compensation:**

Ohiocraftbeer offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $42,000 per year, plus benefits, including paid time off and TeleDoc health coverage.
