We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician Senior to lead our med carousel and packager operations. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for training and mentoring pharmacy technicians and interns, assisting with new process implementations, and overseeing the daily operations of the med carousel and packager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns on carousel and packager workflows and best practices.
  • Assist with new process implementations and escalate any workflow or process issues to your supervisor for review.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the med carousel and packager, including general maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
  • Serve as a resource for pharmacy staff regarding med carousel and packager questions and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Licensure/Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification and active registration as a Certified Tech with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Experience: 1 or more years of experience in hospital pharmacy with expertise in a particular area of pharmacy services (IV room, ADC/Pyxis, Packager, etc).
